    Exactly what I'm thinking. I don't know if I f--- with Ugly, sometimes I skip it, other times I think I actually like it. it's the only track that keeps me from loving that album completely. I can't think of one album where I love every single track, but Magic was really close tbh.

    I can't rank Nas' album's either currently. I heard most of them I think, but I do have to go back one more time. Stillmatic is definitely high on that list though.

    Pain but I think I did it. My Nas album ranking:

    Illmatic
    The Lost Tapes
    Life Is Good
    Stillmatic
    King's Disease 3
    King's Disease 2
    God's Son
    Hip Hop Is Dead
    Magic
    Untitled
    It Was Written
    I Am...
    Street's Disciple
    The Lost Tapes 2
    King's Disease
    Nasir
    Nastradamus

    Laying them out does the quality no justice. It Was Written is number 11 but that is still a great album. At least 8/10's til then. A few mid projects below. I'd say only Nasir and Nastradamus are mediorce but still have some gems on them. A lot of rappers wish their worst albums had the likes of Life We Chose, Project Windows and Last Words on them.

    Nas has been getting his flowers. But I feel like he needs a big album. Big producers, big features number 1 on the charts. Big singles. I don’t want him to dumb it down . I just want to see something big.

    I don't think he wants that at this point and I don't want him to change his style to sell some albums

    What's big for Nas though? He's put out some pretty awesome things of late, a Firm reunion, an Eminem collab, got a verse from Lauryn Hill, and worked with some newer acts too. He'd have to do something dramatic to top the charts. This type of rap is not what the mainstream is buying anymore, and Nas trying to chase trends would likely be horrible.

    I don’t understand people’s fascination for charts these days, we’re not watching MTV anymore, what benefit does a consumer have to gain from it in the streaming era? Increased ticket prices?
