My point was that your criticism of Biden not trying hard enough is silly when you consider the context that he’s done more to push the U.S. toward marijuana decriminalization than any other U.S. president. Dec 19, 2022 Bush publicly stated the issue was up to the states but his administration ramped up federal law enforcement efforts against marijuana dealers/users. The Obama administration went through waves where they initially continued Bush era federal marijuana policies in fears of being framed as “soft on crime/drugs” by Republicans but eventually came around & moved away from those policies.

I randomly watched videos on YouTube where Bush said about marijuana being let up to the states and said something about it for medical use too. But yeah most of the Republicans back then would have been too narrow minded. I think most of it was just for the bigger bust to show off that they’re doing something “good.” I meant Bush more in general. I didn’t really mean his admin. I didn’t read the post first and made one error.
