    cartoon & cereal is far and away his best song. it's an absolute masterpiece.

    EDIT: interestingly, his three best songs have guest verses.

    The idea that the song is for his little sister, although heavy handed as a whole (I wont deny that) kind of makes the straightforward verses/storytelling effective, no? It's a cautionary tale and one thats made extremely accessible and relatable.

    Hook isn't corny. I think it sounds great. The rapping itself isnt bad.

    You're main complaints seem to be with the writing, and I think it was executed well enough for the song not to be a "blemish" on the project
