May 20, 2015 this kinda hops out of the "opinion" pool and into the one marked "wrong" maad city and money trees can you expand on that
May 20, 2015 it's too heavy-handed to be a good narrative and too paternalistic to be a noble idea. the hook is also cheesy.
May 20, 2015 idk how anyone f---s with tammy's song in general let alone enough to think Keisha's songs is more of a "blemish" on sec 80
May 20, 2015 I love tammy song. Also I live the song i by kendrick, loved it from the moment I heard it!
May 20, 2015 pretty sure you cant be wrong for loving a song m8 also think the argument is stronger for it being a good song, at the very least, rather than just all around a misfire like you think
May 20, 2015 The idea that the song is for his little sister, although heavy handed as a whole (I wont deny that) kind of makes the straightforward verses/storytelling effective, no? It's a cautionary tale and one thats made extremely accessible and relatable. Hook isn't corny. I think it sounds great. The rapping itself isnt bad. You're main complaints seem to be with the writing, and I think it was executed well enough for the song not to be a "blemish" on the project
May 20, 2015 I think I agree with this entirely. I can see Keisha's Song being placed in the bottom 5 but I don't think that it's a stain on the album (not a great song either), and personally I like it. ... My unpopular opinion is that I really love Chapter 6. I've said some things about what I dislike on TPAB, now I'll just say that it doesn't have replay value (I've listened to it 5 times in total).
