    SL1 was them finding their footing and lane as artists. Some spotty rapping, but the singles/best songs are strong enough that they outweigh the bad stuff.

    SL2 they perfected the formula and had advanced as rappers and overall artists. More rambunctious, more adventurous with vocals and such.

    SL3 they took an artistic risk with the triple album that set them apart from each other for around 60% of the album (taking into account the songs they're together on the solo discs). It def showed that they're better playing off each other, but the discs are brief enough that it allowed them to showcase what they bring to the table on their own.

    SL4 it felt like there was pressure to up the ante on the rambunctiousness and the album structure after the triple album, but upon one listen I'd say it feels like they went in the opposite direction. Feels a little more reserved and more melodic sadboi from both of them. I like it when artists buck expectations like that. Need to spend more time with it, tho I don't think it's touching 2 or 3.

    edit: idk why I abbreviated that as SR instead of SL, fixed lol

    I don't mean that all the songs sound the same as the other songs just that I heard it all before. And thats not just w trap btw other sounds as well, but I click play and feel like oh not again.

    Some songs sound great though! But nothing new to me

    @Marsh yall are crazy they sound like actual babies on SL1 lol. It has extremely strong singles but so does SL2 and the deeper cuts are way better. 2 took everything that was great about 1 and did it way better.

    I understand being tired of trap and there's certainly a few samey-sounding duds on here but how do, like, Royal Flush, ADHD Anthem, Lean Gone Cold, Sexy, and Flaunt It/Cheap sound remotely the same lol
