So I was thinking, and most peoples fav Eminem "era" was MMLP or TES (mine is 2002/Tes Era), but i was wondering if anyone likes MMLP2/Present Eminem "era" the best? This era is definitely special imo and eminem is definitely in his second prime. I am loving everything he puts out rn

Definitely not as bad as people on FORUMS love to make him out to be aside from select few songs I'd take this over encore relapse and recovery Eminem

Probably some younger fans who weren't paying attention during the MMLP and TES era.

    Relapse is GOAT.
    Recovery is very nice fan-service.
Bad Meets Evil is forgettable minus like 2 tracks.
MMLP2 is way too "looking back at how great I used to be" + "how many words can i fit in this"
(It's the theme of the album to reminisce but meh.. not what I wanna hear..)
ShadyXV is a great demonstration of evolution. "Holy s--- flow reached another height" but is pretty forgettable as well.

^Well that was really worth checking my notifications for.

I was serious though, younger fans who grew up or became fans of Em in the Recovery or MMLP2 era will likely enjoy that era more. Most Em fans who've been following him since TES or earlier won't.

The first song I heard from Eminem was Stan when he performed it live with Elton John at the height of his career and have been a fan since yet I don't ride his d-ck they way everyone else does for him during that period yet I don't hate anything and everything current Eminem I don't wish death upon him how people do on his board I don't complain about every single thing he does in fact it's the exact opposite I find a majority of his recent stuff great of course their is a lot of forgettable s--- that shouldn't really make an album and then every now and then there's things that should never see the light of day but I don't go around acting like older Eminem could do no wrong and he was the best rapper alive at that time when I'm sure he wasn't at all

He sort of couldn't tho lol. Like every body has their moment/time and 1999-03 was all eminem. He was the biggest name in the game.. Nothing he put out was even average it was all pretty amazing. The fact that he's still in the game is insane but certainly his moment has passed, he's never gonna be able to have that same hunger and charisma that made his flawless for those years.

Not trying to be a d-ck but his new s--- for the most part is pure trash. Listen to his first 3 albums and other tracks from that era and it will be easily seen that he has fallen off.
