May 26, 2015 I don't remember anything bad from him in 03, but I agree D12 World was the beginning of the end. "My Salsa" was also the first time we heard the accent. As a fan I was in denial. I thought he intentionally toned it down and took a step back on D12 World in an effort to make the other group members look better, then on his next solo project we'd see the real Em at his best. Lol nope, he actually got worse.

May 26, 2015 I was very young, but i was disappointed as h--- at all of the nonsense, from the dude who created amazing flows & rhyme schemes, to non-coherent rambling & mumbling., christ, i was confused as h--- as to why he decided to go the route he did, but at the time i didnt realise how much of a drug addiction he had.

I've been so high off just weed I was barely able to be coherent this n----- recorded a album while destroyed on pills! In all reality I'm in the party that thinks encore would've been amazing had those few songs not leaked. Then I think his career is viewed way different at this point. I think he either dies or doesn't record more work having 4 fantastic albums under his belt

May 28, 2015 I was on D12World and remember all those theories lol. As bad as Eminem has been since 09, Encore is still the worst of his career. Utter embarrassment to music. I seriously can't believe some people are rating Encore better now though. Maybe it's because they haven't revisited the album, so they remember only the good songs, but SERIOUSLY... If you really think Encore is not that bad, go f---ing listen to it again... It's on another level of awful.
May 28, 2015 Encore was kind of my first Eminem album*. I loved it at the time. I was new to rap, and the production was excellent. It was only months later when I had gone through through his past albums that I realised anything I liked about Encore had been much better before. It's still fascinating to me as the reflection of his state of mind at the time. I can totally understand why people believed that the leak was a fake. I can't imagine hearing that after 3 fantastic albums. *I actually had MMLP on tape when I was a kid, but didn't bother with Eminem again until Encore. An odd way to get back into rap I know.

Nov 27, 2017 I was on d12board at the time. That s--- was crazy. I was very confused by the album at the time. I thought, this CD kind of sucks, but it's Eminem, so it has to be good. Especially coming right off of 8 mile. He was so good at the time, that when straight from the lab leaked, I thought those songs weren't really album material. I was so f---ing wrong. Keep in mind, before Encore, Eminem never delivered a bad verse, nevermind a bad song. After he signed with dre, nothing he did was bad. Its crazy when you think about it. He recorded so many songs back then and every single verse was gold. You just expected quality from him. This was our first taste of Eminem declining, and he fell fast. Couldn't believe it. Mass hysteria broke out, and people were in such denial.

Nov 27, 2017 I remember this well. I was on a cruise during the time it leaked, but when I got home I remember immediately seeing these theories. I listened to the album and can remember thinking "WTF?!?!" at songs like "Big Weenie". But yeah I remember people thinking that all too well. Just one time someone should actually do something like that, as in do something outlandish that will get people speculating theories - then follow up with actual content relating to the theory. For instance, imagine if Kendrick really did have a "NATION." album. Maybe one day the conspiracy gangs will actually be right or close to right about something haha
