Childhood circumcision serves no legitimate purpose & should be banned. If you’re an adult & want to go ahead with the procedure, that’s your decision.
I think it rly depends on the country — quick google search says around 80% of men are circumcised in the USA but that's def not the norm in most of Europe and Asia and Latin America.
There was a kid in my swim class who people called "taquito d-ck" cuz he was uncut lol. It's such a strange thing to be bullied for and I agree I wouldn't want my kid to feel weird or ostracized, but at the end of the day I think beyond HS/early 20s people mature enough to where it wouldn't really matter.
Extremely weird cultural practice and I have genuinely no idea why we do it in the USA. I'm cut but I don't think I would continue that practice if I have a son.
I think the more important question would be, do women think uncircumcised d----s are weird/gross? I assume you don’t but as a society I feel like the general consensus is that it looks weird as f--- because most men are cut. So while I agree it’s a barbaric and bizarre practice I wouldn’t want to ostracize my kid for life
