May 28, 2015 This is were there's a disconnect. I seem like Im condoning aspects of the album Im not, because Im denouncing the thought process behind critiquing those aspects. I really did NOT agree with things like using "found footage" of a "dead man" being "inherently" bad...etc etc That doesnt mean I think Kendrick executed it well. Mortal man was one of my least revisted tracks/one of the lower tier moments on the album for me since it released. I just think you have a habit of over-generalizing what exactly is "corny" or "embarrassing" to you when it comes to specific artists. I KNOW the interview being a misstep doesnt have to detract from the highlights of the album -- thats why I still like a lot of it. I also get that they're indicative of the larger issues you have with the record but in focusing on those you seem to be dismissing any and all highlights..and thats easily provable, because you literally think nothing works on the album. Im doing the reverse. Cept Im also acknowledging the flaws (just not giving them as much weight as you, which could change in the future amirite!?) Im acknowledging that the album as a whole is still good, albiet flawed. Seems to me like you're saying my thought process makes sense lol....its just that you thought I overrated parts of the album that I actually dont rate highly, like, at all still not embarrassed by any of it tho, so if thats the approach you, swizz, and co. want to take Ill gladly be on the side of TPAB

May 28, 2015 Serious talk, why do you prefer Taylor's album? What is so good about it that can makes it better than TPAB? Imo even the worst songs from Tpab (the two interludes and complexion) destroys bad blood (song is so awful though)
