Despite multiple pushbacks and a seemingly secured October 2016 release date for her Joyride album, Tinashe has switched up plans and is putting out a new mixtape in November.

Yeah, it's a bummer Joyride is still shrouded in mystery, but we're 15 new tracks with Nightride, which is basically like a full-length album, right?! The tape, dropping on Friday, Nov. 4, comes with previously released cuts like "Party Favors," "Ride of Your Life" and "Company," plus long-awaited songs like "Soul Glitch," which Tinashe told Fuse about last October.

While Tinashe has only one full-length to her name, she has released four very-excellent mixtapes that has helped her stay one of most innovative R&B-pop stars in the game. Nightride could be the impetus to finally get the people fully hyped for LP No. 2.

Probably one of her greatest traits is just how versatile she is; she can juggle everything from bubblegum pop to 808-heavy R&B. Listening to this tape sort of reminds me why even though all the ingredients are there, I can't help but feel there's something missing with her...nonetheless I think we'll get the answer on Joyride.
