May 30, 2015 VERSE 1 The power of the voice is unbelievable Men are oblivious, so they remain silent Pursuit of justice is conceivable We can go above the violence Been left high and dry We livin' merely to survive Perhaps my perception is ignant But I stress yours is a figment MLK said it best - don't lose infinite hope Do not be choked by the government's rope To them, my voice dangerous - I understand But I'm just lending a helpinig hand Across the globe, we be lethargic Hopeless, starving, tragic No passion, no heart Mediocrity is satisfcation, praying for a new start HOOK Dear God, I want it all to change I can't live if it stays the same Life and death on the line, I proclaim If all hope is perished, who is to blame?
