    What do you think is the best movie trilogy ever made?

    My vote goes to the Dark Knight trilogy. The masterful directing and story telling of Christopher Nolan along side his brother Jonathan Nolan, the powerhouse acting performances of Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as James Gordan, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Liam Neeson as Ras Al Ghul, Cillian Murphy as Scarecrow, Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two Face, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, and of course one of the greatest acting performances of all time, Heath Ledger as the Joker. The heavy practical effects and low CGI filmmaking method along with an amazing score provided by Hans Zimmer... all of this makes TDK trilogy the best ever imo of course.

    If you're watching these movies strictly from a Batman comic book fan's perspective i can see why one may not like these films as much as everyone else, but from a filmmaking perspective one cannot deny these films' greatness.
