Dec 12, 2025 @Michael Myers - Michael Myers Thanksgiving Nostalgia Trip review Alright so due to the extended review period caused by the site falling apart (now I gotta pass a captcha type authentication every time I log in here and it tends to take ages to load lol) I’ve been listening to this tape for a whiiile now. And honestly, I quite enjoyed it for what it is. Liked the Rihanna opener, her music scratches a pop itch for me so I’m always down to spin some of her work. The second song wasn’t quite my thing, I can see why some would enjoy it but I prefer some other genres when it comes to Latin stuff. Luckily the Kanye track is a bop due to its cinematic beat and the classic jeezy feature. I also liked hearing Coldplay on here, some of their earlier stuff has been a guilty pleasure of mine for ages and this song is no exception. Shame they sold out and became as a--- as they are nowadays. The RHCP track, as well as the Ludacris song that followed didn’t really do much for me. Found myself kind of zoning off on each replay I did. Still, I see the appeal. The run from Paparazzi to Whatchu Want is probably my favorite portion of this tape. Each song is a certified b-----r. Boy do I love when Jay-Z gets into the right pocket. I even liked the Will Smith song. This man is unapologetically cheesy but on this track he hits just the right player to princess ratio. The rest of the tape was pretty good too, with Give It To Me and God Was Never On Your Side being some of my personal highlights. To sum up, I knew a bunch of the songs on here already and enjoyed being able to hear them again in the @AOTWClub context. The tape was a fun walk down memory lane and a quite energetic listen. I think it was Jank who called it slightly schizophrenic, and he was right. I feel like the BPD is one of the playlist’s strengths. I wanna thank Myers for the tape and the infinite throwbacks contained within. 7.5/10 @Justin Trudeau

Dec 12, 2025 True. I haven’t participated in that thread in a while and don’t miss it. The enjoyment is long gone, I think I grew out of it. After a while you start to realize it’s just the same conversations on loop forever. And after a while voluntarily providing entertainment to clowns when it was never your responsibility to gets old. I also barely ever listen to Eminem anymore. Maybe a few times a year if that.
Dec 12, 2025 Truth be told my days of regularly participating on this forum are numbered. The itch to post I used to have just isn’t there anymore and hasn’t been for quite a while. That stretch of days where the server was down confirmed that to me even more.
