Jul 1, 2024 Paris Texas - Mid Air I enjoyed this more than I thought I would but it lost a lot of credibility when there was half a verse dedicated to his trip to the dentist. It was a lot more diverse than I was expecting from a rock-rap album. Overall: 6/10 @AOTWClub

Teezo Touchdown) Ain’t No High NüWhip Airborne …We Fall Lana Del Ray Everybody’s Safe Until… Earth-2 Lift Off PANIC!!! tenTHIRTYseven First Listen Review: Here I was thinking that Peggy’s album would be the most divisive in my head before listening, but here we have MID AIR by Paris Texas. The first song played and I was like “yeah I don’t know how I’m gonna feel about this” and then BOOM, super strong songs for the next couple tracks. The highs here are really really good, but the lows were just so meh to me. I’m not sure if it’s just something that has to grow on me or what, but some songs just didn’t hit for me. The positives however, the transitions between some songs were cool, the features from Kenny Mason and Teezo were really good, and the production was solid throughout. A good chunk of the rapping on this project when they are rapping is impressive too and I enjoyed it. With the negatives though, there were just songs that weren’t as strong as others to me on here for whatever reason, and I have 3 skips. Those skips are tenTHIRTYseven, PANIC!!!, and Lift Off. I’m not sure what it was about these songs, but I just did not enjoy them. I’m glad the project didn’t follow the sound of the intro throughout all 50 minutes, or I would’ve hated it. I enjoyed the album, but it’s still my least favorite of all the albums we have listened to thus far (there you go @hargydon , you are not in last with a 7 anymore).
