Jul 7, 2024 Title: Claio - Sling Standouts: Bambi, Amoeba, Zinnias, Just for Today, Reaper Skips: Little Changes, Joanie Score: 8/10 Final Thoughts: While it certainly is depressing as other users have pointed out, "Sling" by Clairo feels like a cozy afternoon spent reflecting on life. This album is filled with rich, vintage sounds that remind me of older records. Jack Antonoff's production is top-notch, beautifully layering acoustic and electric elements. The lyrics hit home with themes of finding yourself, dealing with fame, and personal struggles. Simply put, it's a beautiful, touching record. And although it's not something I see myself returning to very often, I can imagine it suits well for those introspective moments when you need to feel understood. @AOTWClub @Justin Trudeau
