    Since Fallout 4 was recently announced, I thought that I'd ask the question "Which Fallout do you think is better?"

    I enjoy NV more, the DLC sets it a bit over for me

    I had fun with both but I had a huge problem with door loading times in New Vegas. I had load times around 30 minutes and that sucks a---

    Fallout 3. Spent a ridiculous amount of time doing everything I could in that game. Finished New Vegas once and never went back to it.

    Fallout 3 has a better world and atmosphere, new vegas has better characters, dialogue, and story. Fallout 3 will forever be my favorite however.

    Comes down to what tone you like more. 3 was all about scrounging for survival in a really punishing atmosphere. NV was a glimpse into reconstruction, what society would start to rebuild itself as. Personally, NV intrigued me more from a thematic perspective. And then with the gameplay essentially being a slightly enhanced version of 3, and every DLC blowing 3's DLC out of the water (minus Dead Money), NV was just a more interesting and stimulating game.

    NV I liked 3 but NV was more interesting to me
