Jun 10, 2015 I will, thanks. And yeah I do, although I admit my personal smiley collection is lacking atm
Jun 11, 2015 I would also like some IASIP smileys as well please. Don't have any real preference, but one of Charlie as Dayman, Fat Mac, one of the McPoyle's and Rickety Cricket would be enough for me.
Jun 11, 2015 only gonna tag you if u actually post about the song for the day...whats wrong with givenchy -- its amazing
Jun 11, 2015 You say that about every Young Thug song. I'm beginning to suspect you're being paid by his team.
Jun 11, 2015 sorry i guys i woke up this morning and decided to skip work and went back to sleep so i forgot about this, song of the day inc soon so i guess that means no mention then, huh?
Jun 11, 2015 dying @ MIC's deleted message anywyas, seeing as how half a bar is what made me not wanna go to work this morning I think I found today's pick: 2. Halftime One of the 3 best tracks on Thug's recently "retail mixtape," Barter 6, Halftime, as MIC once put it, arguably shows "as much as technical skill as Em's shown his entire career, sans maybe k--- You" (Im paraphrasing here). Technical skill doesn't just have to do with multi-syllabics. Thug transitions from beautiful bridges to seamless melodies, only to throw the whole equation off balance by one extended syllable (re-cy-cles) -- before magically flipping the entire rhythm of the song on its head. And he never misses a beat. The lyrics are insanely self-aware (every time I dress myself, it go mofuckin' viral), and the hook is smooth as can be. Infectious, really (as is most of his finished/mastered material). The recently released music video is also hilarious (my favorite part is the "f--- her on a $10,000 bed" bit, or when he drops his money/bowls some imaginary object @ the airport). Also, the title of the song originating on Nas's Illmatic >> Hit the streets and tear this b---- up like I'm Willie B No Tennessee but the chain on my neck is a T No Memph' Bleek, b---- I own the Roc not Jay Z, ya dig? War Ready like Tracy T, ya dig? @Cain @Squid @Big Mitch @Peter Parker @ImmortalTechnique @Chigzzer @FlawlessT @Loyalty @Acid Sav @zazou @Meero @Fire Squad @Ordinary Joel @Enigma IM AN a------ FOR SOME HEAD...I DONT KNOW THAT HOE I ACT LIKE SHE DEAD...INSURANCE ON MY MONEY LIKE A WRECK
Jun 11, 2015 hard for me to pick tops on it. I love Constantly Hating so much that I always start it over even if I didn't finish it the last time I listened to it. And that's got me loving With That and the ad libs (DORK!) and TI makes me laugh every time on Can't Tell "she let me put it everywhere but the butt" but I think that your top three might be the right answer
Jun 11, 2015 Check has taken the #1 spot for some time now for me, but but it really could go either way tbh; Halftime is more "stacked", he really goes off. I agree with Just Might Be for the top 3
Jun 11, 2015 yeah idk with how much thug ive heard (including like 20 songs easily in the leaks all better than everything cept the top 3 on this album) a lot of barter 6 is very easy to categorize as "safe." still very well executed but some of it is lackluster to an extent. but that being said, when i tried to rank the songs..all i knew is that knocked off was my least favorite (and even that i love)...top 3 and bottom 1 was set in stone, rest were interchangeable..its a great project. but just might be, check and halftime are clearly the 3 best in my opinion. Constantly Hating is a great opener tho (and birdman's verse is dope), With That hook is like a drake hook on steroids (in the best way possible), cant tell seems unnecessary even tho it shouldnt (thugs verse/hook are both great, but ti's is inconsequential and boosie's suffers from its placement i think). Never Had it, Dream, Dome >>> rich s---, i eat fish n grits dream hook >>>> one of my favorites on the album
Jun 11, 2015 Assuming lack of discussion is because everyone's still stunned by just how good this s--- is
Jun 11, 2015 Yeah the top 3 quality-wise is Halftime, Check & Just Might Be/Constantly Hating I sort of flip-flop between those two. Funny enough I've played Numbers the most from B6 individually speaking, the melodies fit like a glove with that beat it's such an accessible record...Never Had It would probably round out my top 5.
Jun 12, 2015 Yeah OD/numbers would probably be my 4th/5th spots but on the real I enjoy songs like never had it and dream and dome more
