    The like circlejerk is obnoxious, let's add a second circlejerk, this will fix things :kappa:
    Likes are abused but dislikes, for some magical reason, won't be abused and they'll be moderated, right? Makes sense lol, and it's totally possible.

    The only reason to add dislikes is laziness; if you see a shitpost you can respond to it. On the other hand, if you think that a post is good, you can like it instead of spamming "i agree yo" or "couldn't have said it better myself".

    -> If you guys don't like likes, you can suggest to remove them, but so far I haven't seen anyone talking about this. Gotta get them internet points boys.

    -> If it's about "quality control", use your keyboard instead of your mouse.

    Lol @ reps, is this 2006? Come on now guys. Let's not take this posting career too seriously :)

    reps are a can of @Worm s that i dont think needs to be opened

    dislikes are necessary tho, im sick of seeing these embarrassingly s--- posts that are liked by, like, only Young Sinatra and Full Speed or a couple people like that and it draws wrong positive attention to the post. not a good look.

    reps/dislikes takes away from the growth, the overall morale, and ultimately adds a shitload of headache to all staff involved. the likes/plus system is perfect right now.

    new members sign up daily and post...something that never happened on SL after the first 3 months...its cuz they can post without fearing getting dislikes

    you guys wont believe the amount of pms i used to get from people getting dislikes and negs..is it silly? yes...does it effect the forum growth? f--- yes

    the problem isnt that an opinion cant be disliked...the problem it WILL end up being like SL and get abused...and members like eminem fans will get buried in dislikes

    Should get rid of the s-----y repost feature while we're at it, it's basically just the laziest way possible to post and adds absolutely nothing since it's just repeating someone's post word for word. Still don't see the purpose of it.

    But yeah I guess reps wouldn't make much sense now that I think about it and have read some of your arguments, but dislikes would definitely be cool to have.
