Jul 12, 2024 I might be reaching here but after thinking the album works forwards and backwards or that it's a loop, I thought of a theory that makes more sense imo (then again this could all be nothing and the last quarter is just filler) lemme know what y'all think From Renaissance to GC2 it's all happening in Em's mind and him and Slim are fighting over who gets to take over his body on GC2 Em tries a murder suicide but ends up only killing himself, "You can't k--- a spirit even if you try to", either that or Slim kills him outright for this theory to work, once Em/Slim wakes up he tells Paul everything that happened and then laughs his a--- off Head Honcho is Slim's victory lap posing as Em Temporary is Em talking to Hailie from the afterlife since he's "dead" in the sense that the Marshall part of his soul has been killed by Shady Bad One is literally called Bad one (as in "I'm the bad guy that makes fun of people that die") "Yeah One minute, you're here, next minute, you're gone, don't sit there and scoff Lil' b----, you can knock the s--- about me being immature off It isn't my fault, the liquor is often twisting my thoughts" Em's been clean for years now, it's Shady that loves alcohol/drugs Tobey is Slim still posing as Em and trying to take his place in the game, claiming he's the top rapper "I've been knocked down so many times, can't count" Earlier on "All You Got" Slim says: "How many times you tried to k--- me? I always come back" Somebody Save Me, this could be the aftermath of Shady taking over, it wasn't how Slim thought it was, Slim ain't s--- without Em, not the other way around, he gave in to drugs and died in real life due to Em not being around to keep him in check I still need to tweak some s--- and pay more attention to the s--- but feel free to tell me how f---ing crazy I am and how much I'm coping because I hate the last quarter
Jul 12, 2024 This is the ramblings of a lunatic but I want to see you follow it through. In reality it could be an avenue and Eminem is autistic enough to think of that but idk if he's neurotypical enough to actually execute that on purpose.
Jul 12, 2024 I know It's a bit of a stretch and if it really was his intention, the execution still was a bit off imo, it doesn't make the last songs enjoyable for me but it's nice to believe for me that they had a purpose other than filler
