Jun 12, 2015 Ill be honest, i never liked Avatar, not even visually, i felt i was watching a video game.
Jun 12, 2015 Never saw the first one. Even downloaded the special edition 2 years ago, still haven't watched it.
Jun 12, 2015 Camerons best film to this day is still Terminator 2 or Terminator 1. Avatar was overrated af
Jun 12, 2015 I saw the first in the theater and thought it was great, but it's not something I've ever really had a desire to re-watch, so this one better set itself apart from the other or I'll be out for a 3rd one.
Jun 16, 2015 My expectations were really high when I saw the first film. I expected it to be every bit as good as TDK which came out a year before. But than I saw it and it was...MEH. I seriously don't get what the hype is about. Visually it is amazing, a complete 10/10. But story? Very cliched. It felt like someone has thrown Pocahontas and Star Trek into a crockpot. Nothing original. The straight edge hero. The evil Military leader. The hard headed love interest. Sorta reminiscent of Star Wars in a way. Even so I still have faith in a sequel. Obviously the first was just a set up for the enormous story that Cameron want's to tell. I'm looking forward to the sequel. As I've gotten older, good visuals/cinematography excite me more. Still that doesn't do much unless the story if good. A great example of that is the Star Wars prequels. Amazing visuals, bad story, bad movies.
Jun 17, 2015 It took 'em a decade and a half to make that s---, yet they couldn't put a second and a half up in that script?
