While we wait for Ben Affleck as the new Batman in Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad and beyond, let us refresh our memory and take a step back to The Dark Knight trilogy.

Nothing will top Nolan's trilogy, BUT people are going to have to let it go at some point. I think Ben affleck is going to k--- it, and I can't wait to see what he can do.

I didn't like the end to TDKR, I think that's my only problem. Batman Begins was good, The Dark Knight was incredible and TDKR was alright.

TDKR while a good film was a massive let down. They hyped Bane up and made him this huge threat and... he was a lost puppy following Talia around and listening to her orders

TDKR gets a lot of undeserved hate. s--- was like something Howard Hughes would've made. Complete madness.
Plus, it's the only one where you actually care about Bruce Wayne.

But it took like a 60 year old man and a few push ups to heal a broken back in hindsight

How did Joker put a pencil through a guy's head? Rig those ships with tons of explosives? Rig a hospital with tons of explosives? How did Bruce make cellphones blueprint an entire city? How did he reconstruct a bullet from a brick? Lets not pretend Batman was dedicated to realism.

I honestly think the first was the least memorable.

I see your point, I also didn't like the end to TDKR, but each to their own. I do think the trilogy is amazing however.

The first one was bleh. I didn't like it. I liked The Dark Knight. Liked Dark Knight Rises. Bane was awesome, I don't care if he was a puppet.

I haven't watched them since though really. Can't remember the first one much. As Charlie said wasn't too memorable.

TDK trilogy is the best trilogy of all time imo. Movies were great, even if the Batman wasn't great. The new Batman movies might not be as good as the Nolan movies, but i'm willing to bet Ben Affleck's Batman will be the best on screen Batman

Heath Ledger made the trilogy IMO.

First one was really good... Dark Knight was a great movie, but Heath Ledger's performance put it over the top. He had so many memorable lines and moments in that movie... He truly became the Joker... Was incredible.

Dark Knight Rises was OK. I was sort of let down because I kept hearing rumors that Philip Seymour Hoffman was going to be the Penguin, or that Johnny Depp was going to be the Riddler... Bane was great, but it was a let down to me. Especially that ending, between Bane being p---- whipped, and the open ended interpretations to whether Batman really survived the nuclear blast (lol) and Robin... smh
