A nerdy project I've been thinking about for a while. Bugs me that this track has those annoying distorted moments throughout. I wonder if there's enough tech now to remove them fairly cleanly.

Removing the noise, rebuilding the words from other words, maybe even replacing them with AI. I'm convinced you could get results using some combination of these approaches, and curious enough to mess around with it.

There's enough blank beat to rebuild that part easily. I cobbled together the song with the affected words removed and the music in tact. It's rebuilding the missing lyrics that is the problem. You can get a decent 'acapella' online to work from. Are there any music tech pros on here for advice/suggestions?

Are you talking about the Phase effect? All the original Koolo leaks had that on, I can’t remember if it was someone on SL that did them or the leaker who Koolo bought them off.

I’m pretty sure others have managed to remove the phase effect from some of the leaks, isn’t there a version of Cocaine where it’s been removed?

Yeah the phase effect. Not the worst, but like DJ tags I hate them.

I posted that Cocaine one in the DOSS thread the other day. It was news to me. Can't see when or where it came from. Can't see one for Difficult either. It's definitely why it is back on my mind though. Whoever cleaned up Cocaine did a pretty good job.
