This was kinda a debate a lot of the sports section guys were having the other day... These two will definitely be considered to be on the Mt. Rushmore of the NBA's greats when they're done. I'm willing to bet that the poll results for this one will be very even.

My vote is the King, LeBron James.

This really isn't even a debate anymore in 2015. LBJ is definitely the better player. Sure, Kobe is a better 3 point shooter and clutch player, but LBJ is stronger, faster, the better dunker, better in the paint, better passer, better teammate and floor leader, the better coach, etc. Kobe never figured out how to elevate Dwight Howard's game, LBJ would have made that team-up work. Kobe had Shaq who averaged more points per game than Kobe during their championship wins, Lebron has never had that level of help. Specially today, LBJ is playing at a whole 'nother level carrying an awful team. Lebron can play and defend every position, can Kobe? Lol no

Plus Lebron has beaten Kobe far more times than vice versa, and has more MVP's.

The funny thing is, LeBron's clutch time stats are better than Kobe's. They're also not that far off from MJ's.

Yeah I can't deny that the Hawks and Celtics weren't the best of teams he had to face. The Bulls had a chance but LeBron is always givin them the business in the playoffs. I bet the Cavs get would outta the first round in the west tho. Look at what they've done to the Warriors. They've managed to win 2 games against the best team in the west. If the Cavs win this series it will be LeBron's biggest accomplishment of his career and I don't see him ever topping it again. It's impressive what he's done this series.

Shaq definitely carried the Lakers in the 2000 finals. Kobe got better the next two finals tho.

I'm just going to assume you're not watching the NBA Finals because LeBron hasn't had Kevin Love since the Celtics series in round 1. Kyrie went out in the first game of the finals.

Lebron has far more triple doubles than Kobe

Lebron can play and defend any position, Kobe most certainly cannot

The biggest advantage LBJ has over Kobe is his physicality, which allows him to be better in the paint and he plays far better defense.

Yeah he did. But I don't think he necessarily carried the team. Some games maybe. Finals MVP basically means you're the best player on the best team. Shaq was the better player but Kobe won them some games.

word each player has their strengths and weakness, tbh Kobe is the black mamba, killer instinct, haven't seen that from lebron til this finals those 2 games they won, but he has to finish the series like that or personally i think kobe will still be considered better
