The long-awaited expanded Death of Slim that Eminem should have released is finally here, so you can all stop bugging me about it now. This is the definitive edition of the album and it replaces the original so if you don't like it that's too bad, because you are being forced to listen to it. And it goes without saying that if you disagree with any changes I've made, you're an idiot.

This is my modified version of Eminem's latest album, retouched and rearranged to my personal taste. I have scrapped several songs and introduced many others, including only 1) songs I consider "modern Eminem" (2013–), 2) songs or parts of songs I like with no attempt at being "objective", and 3) songs that fit the theme and vibe of the album. I have modified almost every track, and retitled those which as a result have lost any relation or relevance to their original titles to better suit the content. "Head Honcho" without the Ez Mil hook, for example, is now "Dirty Laundry" since you might say Eminem airs out his dirty laundry at the start of the verse and later uses the phrase (which I have overlain with a sample from "s--- Can Happen" to give it more prominence). As much as possible I have tried to make the album still feel like an album, meaning a cohesive body of work and not just a playlist of my favorite songs. To this end I've modified and ordered certain tracks very deliberately, so that they seem to be referencing each other, some very obviously and others more subtly. Some tracks like "Villain" ("a------" retitled) pick up on and further develop an idea that gets raised in the previous track (towards the end of "Venom"). The basic "death of Slim Shady" narrative has survived but shouldn't be taken too literally since "Slim Shady" appears again in a skit even after his apparent death in "Guilty Conscience 2" (although I would have preferred for the skit to come earlier there is no way to do it without spoiling the album's flow). This apparent plot hole isn't new though since on the original album "Marshall Mathers" seems to live on after the murder-suicide. Thus it's not so much a narrative to be taken literally as a metaphor. This comes through clearly in my version as well in the tracks "Nightmare" ("Marshall is dead in the water") and "Guts" ("The legend of the angry blonde lives on through you when I'm gone").

Scrapped songs: Brand New Dance (reused the bridge), Road Rage (reused the interlude skit), Temporary, Tobey (reused the intro), Somebody Save Me

Added: Tone Deaf, Walkthrough (retitled "The Cross"), Fall, Doomsday Pt. 2 (retitled "Murders in the Em Morgue"), Murdergram, Venom, Baby, The Ringer, b---, Guns Blazing, Rainy Days (retitled "Nightmare"), Chloraseptic remix ("Bin Laden"), a------ (retitled "Villain"), Believe, Guts ("Guts Over Fear")
