From directors slamming scripts to others dropping out, and not to mention legal disputes, the biopic about the revered icon has hit more road blocks than the Los Angeles Clippers' road to the NBA Finals. But as revealed by Entertainment Weekly this week, a small saving grace will happen for Pac fans in the upcoming N.W.A. biopic "Straight Outta Compton." On what would have been the late rapper's 44th birthday on Tuesday (June 16), Ice Cube, one of the film's executive producers (alongside Dr. Dre), took to Instagram to reveal that Tupac would be represented in the film and that a "Tupac scene" was shot on said date. Now, as confirmed by EW, not only will Shakur will be represented in the new film, which documents the rise of N.W.A. members Ice Cube, MC Ren, DJ Yella, Dr. Dre, and the late Eazy-E, but he will be played by actor Marcc Rose. As you can see, Rose, who has been hinting at the role for quite some time now, shares a very strong I'll cherish yesterday for the rest of my life.
