Apr 14, 2025 French Exit - TV Girl Score: 75 First album from TV Girl, and it was enjoyable! I did not like it as much as I had hoped going into it, but I believe I have heard that they have better (their next album is an album that I see absolutely everywhere and hear massive praise for). The album was nice, but dropped off at the tail end with the tracks "Her and Her Friend" and "Come When You Call", but I saved every other track. Liked 10/12 tracks, just didn't LOVE them. Lovers Rock bangs though, I see why it has 1.3 billion streams (and I had it previously saved from when I heard it on a friend's playlist).
Apr 14, 2025 Who Really Cares - TV Girl Score: 85 Okay, here we go. I liked this one more than French Exit, only had one miss which was Till You Tell Me to Leave. This album does what the last one does, but better. A lot of songs on here are catchy asf too. Taking What's Not Yours, Cigarettes out the Window, Not Allowed, Safeword, Loving Machine are the standouts for me. Did not expect to hear the word c-m on this album as many times as it appeared, but hey we wouldn't be here without it so. TV Girl Ranked: 1. Who Really Cares - 85 2. French Exit - 75
Apr 14, 2025 Death of a Party Girl - TV Girl Score: 50 Yeah this is not great lol. Only reason it does not get a lower score is because I like the instrumentals. This album was just boring, and even the songs I did like, I didn't enjoy as much as other songs I have liked from TV Girl. Standout is Blue Hair. TV Girl Ranked: 1. Who Really Cares - 85 2. Apr 15, 2025 Aestheticadelica - Bloodbath64 (TV Girl) Score: 70 I liked this because there was a large focus on what I liked most from TV Girl, the instrumentals and production. However, there were still moments throughout where I felt bored with it despite it only being 35 minutes. Also, Vapor Season lyrics are not good lmfao the beat is hard though. Apr 15, 2025 Summer's Over - Jordana & TV Girl Score: 85 Wow, this is actually my favorite from TV Girl so far. I thought it wasn't going to get better than Who Really Cares but this did it. Gorgeous singing and production throughout, just overall really enjoyed this. Better in the Dark is wonderful, and def my standout from the album. TV Girl Ranked: 1. Summer's Over - 85 2. Apr 21, 2025 Grapes Upon the Vine - TV Girl Score: 40 TV Girl has this trend where they will drop an amazing album and then follow it up with some mid, and here we are now. It took me 6 days to have the drive to finish the last 2 songs from this album. I was just avoiding another 7 minutes of this for as long as possible. It was just so BORING and does not stand out at all, I can't even name a standout track. I liked a few songs here, but even the ones I saved, I really could live without. Apr 21, 2025 Fauxllennium - TV Girl & George Clanton Score: 80 So, TV Girl's latest album at the time of writing, and it was pretty good! Just hope this means the next one doesn't s---...anyways, this album brought back a lot of what I liked about TV Girl. Also, my first time hearing anything from George Clanton, and this made me want to check out his stuff so that's a plus. Glad that TV Girl's discog (so far) concluded on a positive note. Apr 22, 2025 The Slim Shady LP - Eminem Score: 85 CC: @Minato The start of Em's "big 3" albums, and in my opinion the weakest of the 3. Some of Em's best songs are on here (including Role Model, which goes back and forth from being my favorite Em song), but the album as a whole does not reach the heights of the next 2. Anyways, insane major label debut. Every track is insane (besides c-m On Everybody, which is alright, but not one that I save), and the pure hungry rapping from Em is inspiring. How he viewed life on this album vs every album forward is astonishing to take in everytime. This was the start to an insane legacy!
