vince staples or kendrick lamar?

    I love the production and how it hood politics leads into it, but I find it corny overall...it's one of the songs I'd remove to make TPAB less bloated. That, Mortal Man, and Momma.

    No I wanted to say "For Free"

    and I'm not saying that because Kendrick said it was his favorite song on the whole TPab but because that Jazz is just Holy d--- good.

    i listened to gkmc the other day on a long drive front to back. The high points on this album are ridiculous, absolutely classic songs. TPAB doesnt have those high points at all even tho its a more consistent album. GKMC is kennys best work to date

    Mortal Man , How much a Dollar cost, momma and hood politics are definitely top 5 on tpab

    3 of these songs are amongst the consensus top songs on TPAB so it wouldn't make any sense to remove them

    And how much informed do I need to be when giving my thoughts on this particular record? The album is ok, Vince got potential, he kinda found his sound, that's it, a month ago you was calling Barter 6 AOTY and now this, what are you standards to call a record "album of the year"? Because they seem to be pretty poor

    tbh, these songs are the reason why this album is getting all that praise

    and tpab is imo twice as good as gkmc

    Tpab is kendrick's best work to date and anyone saying different is just a pleb. And you can be sure tpab will always be considered as kdot's best work

    Because Barter 6 came out first? And then he later heard Vince's album and decided it was better than B6?

    Even if you put all the reviews aside, there's no denying that to p---- a butterfly is better than good kid maad city. It's more ambitous, it has better composition, better music, the songwriting is better, its sonically more impressive, and Kendrick is rapping better on it.

    My point is that he thinks his opinion is the only relevant one in the discussion and decides to call things before thinking about it first, that TV show thread that he made compliments what I'm trying to say, I know that he could listen to the record before most people but I can't understand how he can formulate an opinion like that one so "easily" and decide to ignore the thoughts of the rest of the community because" he probably have more knowledge in Hip Hop than us"

    We got a lot of great records released this year, think about it first

    how is tpab more consistent if its longer but with still nothing better than sing about me/money trees/mad city/art of peer pressure? thats like half of gkmc...

    and how is tpab more consistent if gkmc doesnt fall of till like the last 2 tracks....
