Jun 22, 2015You have a great album
- I would write to the beat opposed to having everything pre-wrote. That would help the flow
- Let Resto handle most of the production
- Tell DJ Khalil to f--- off
- Not listen to Paul whatsoever
- Have sex
- Avoid writing bad lines
- Make my own hooks

Its actually really, really simple..
1. Get Dre to executive produce it.
2. Get beats from the Bass Brothers, Dre, Resto, plus one or two from himself.
3. Get the right features, verses from Kanye, Kendrick, Dre, Yelawolf.. maybe could get an unreleased 2pac verse from Dre's vaults?
4. Needs a really good artist to beef with.. Someone that will actually challenge / scare him..
"i pray for the day that someone who spits with the calliber that nas and jay does
opens up his jaw to say something or rattle my name off
or rattle the first thing from the top of his brain off
so i can blow the f---in dust off of this chainsaw
and give him the surgery that he came for"
5. Most important of all.... Em needs to relax his flow, this rapid fire, multi syllable rhyming crap is boring and hard to listen to, He should listen to the verses he's done in his career and ask himself what made them great, its all about content. He needs something to say and he needs to deliver it the way he used to. His albums since The Eminem Show / 8 Mile.. he's trying way too hard.
include all of that in a really good concept album and voila, he's got another classic.
........... its actually really, really f---ing difficult..Pablo, fabris22, Ordinary Joel and 3 others like this. -

like say you are Eminem, with his exact same skills that he got right now...how hard is it for you to honestly create a great album?
if i were Eminem, i will realize that i been put in a disadvantage with all my last few albums...by accepting ready made beats/hooks ... i feel even travis scott puts more effort in his music
first, i would give the entire production work to someone i fully trust...someone i know who will put 110%, he tried doing it with Rick but it ended up that Eminem was basically involved with every beat..and most likely ruined lots of them...not to mention Rick just sampled bunch of beats
i would give it to Luis...or if im feeling brave i would try Dre...and i will question why i never worked with Kanye, is it ego? would kanye say no ex-produce an eminem album?
ok after i get someone to completely handle all productions, i will just make songs...and my producer will make sure i dont get any ready made beats with prebuilt hooks with f---ing song titles....after i get this outta the way...i feel i can shine again
how would you do it?(This ad goes away when signing up) -

definitely resto. Eminem's production with Luis Resto is always great.
and tbh, I'D LOVE for Kanye to have input on Eminem's album. These two could definitely create a classic.
Eminem is probably surrounded by yes men who tell him everything is good when it isn't. Nobody has the balls to tell him to go back and re-record something or fix something, except maybe Just Blaze. Dr. Dre proved himself to be a yes man by letting Encore and Relapse even happen... so I don't know if he'd be good. I mean, I'd love to hear Em on some Dre beats again but who are we kidding
but if I was Eminem, I'd try and get some modern people on the album. maybe a Drake feature, dare I say a Thugger feature (meaning the two styles are incredibly different).. you know, some of the newer cats. Then I'd hook up with people from the past that helped make the music great. I'd holla at Xzibit, Sticky Fingaz... even the Outsidaz. In terms of production, I'd hook myself up with a dre beat or two, but stick to mainly producing it myself with Luis Resto.
oh and I'd stay the f--- away from rubin and khalilPablo, Ordinary Joel, Willou and 2 others like this. -

I'd lock myself in the studio and have The Eminem Show on repeat. Then try to make something half as decent.
Then i'd probably call paul to tell him he is a fat c----.Pablo, Ordinary Joel and Loyalty like this. -

If I was modern day Eminem how hard would it be a great album? It wouldn't be beside picking better songs to put on the album. Ever since his comback on every release so far he's had flashes of greatness on par (or dare I say even higher) with his prime material that's mixed in with post hiatus Marshall material (which is still good in my opinion just not as amazing as prime Em).
There's not a single doubt in my mind that he still can't release a great album in 2015 (I think he did in 2013 but let's assume he didn't) if he just made better song slections. Probably a ton of post hiatus material locked away in his vault that could pass for old prime material.homeless bitch, Suburban Scum and VMO2 like this. -
