I'm a big Bowie fan in general, but the stretch from STS-Heroes might be my favorite. I like to include the first two Iggy Pop albums alongside them, and it truly is one of the best eras in music history imo. Been some time since I've listened to Lodger, so hopefully I enjoy it more when I revisit it.

Holy s---. this is f---ing amazing. Push and Malice f---ing slide over these beats, like they f---ing eviscerated them. The way they k--- that Game beat is f---ing shocking. Ab-Liva is really dope too. And Sandman is.... well he's definitely there I guess

Great album from Gunn. "Duran Duran" goes f---ing nuts. Sadly, I downloaded the version without DJ Drama adlibs :emoji_slight_frown: . When I revisit it, imma need to find that version. Still amazing though!

Heard this about a month ago, but the track titles were all messed up, so this is kind of a first listen. It is a good record, although I do find it much weaker than their first 3 records. Then again, the first 3 BS records are masterpieces so it's a bit hard to beat that

Absolutely stellar. "Inner City Blues" might be one of my favorite album closers ever. Such a sad track but d--- is it beautiful

Been on a Lou Reed kick recently for some reason. Great record!!! Much more alt-rock than I expected. Very underrated imo. Aside from New York, not sure what records to check out from him afterwards. Maybe it's time to revisit Loaded...

Similarly to LUV's Eternal Atake, this albums reminds me of the last few weeks before COVID really shook things up. I think its a great album. Sure, Hov is on it a lot, but as a fan, I'm not complaining. Stellar production, and some incredible tracks. "Ghost of Soulja Slim" "Flux Capacitor". And of course there's "A.P.I.D.T.A"... such a sad closer for this record. Incredible track. I wasn't one of the people who had to wait 10+ years for a proper Jay Elec record, so I can't really speak on if it lived up to the hype or not, but I like it a lot personally.

50 Albums In!!!! I view --- kinda like how I feel about Mobb Deep's Infamous. Even though they're both sophomore albums, they exhibit their respective artists in a more "fully-formed" way than their debuts. There's always been tracks on here that I revisit frequently, but I really enjoyed songs like "Monopoly" and "Detroit187" this time around. Surprising to see that Paul White produced 3 tracks on here considering that he's one of the reasons I enjoy AE so much. Great record

I have no idea why it isn’t talked about that much anymore. Most of the time when I see people talking about it they focus on the Hov features and the NOI lyrics, but nothing else. Such a shame cause it’s honestly one of my favorite albums of the decade so far

Incredible and groundbreaking tape. Would be a nightmare to put up on streaming due to all the samples though

I was already familiar with the opening track since Jay sampled it, but I decided to check out the rest. Very good record, Bland has a great voice

Incredible record. Although I do have to say, that I MUCH prefer Iggy's Mix over Bowie's. When I listened to Bowie's version, I just couldn't get into it
