first it was B4.Da.A$$

then IYRT

then Dark Sky Paradise

followed by (arguably) TPAB

with Love Story thrown in the mix

and ALLA to top it all off

clearly all the good music being released this year is confusing a lot of people, leading to crazy and off base initial judgements for all these albums mentioned, and some I probably missed.

this will be a problem for some albums, like TPAB, for a long time to come, but the rest of these have all already started to loose their sheen.

i disagree to a point about tpab...if you mean we overrate it a bit i agree..but it still stand to me and many others as AOTY...i gave it 9.7 back then....i would rate it now 9.2

Tpab wasn't overrated to being with. People thought it was flawless and critic sgave it a 9.7/ or 9.6/10.

an album can't be overrated when both the people and the critics agree that its an amazing album. And look at it now, critics still rank it #1 and think its not going to be topped any time soon.

overrated: a word used by people who don't agree with the majority calling something great. in other words, that term doesn't mean s---.

Not going to change Tpab's or T&Y acclaim coz they deserve it. (I'd go as far as to say that they're the only albums that deserve the universal acclaim this year)

Ain't nobody overrated dark sky paradise, haven't heard anybody saying it was great.

Ain't nobody overrated tpab either. People were calling it the best album of the last 10 years which is probably true if you know music, only a few people called it the best album of all time.

Exactly. The only overrated album this year is summertime 06 because fans thought it was better than it really was. I can't call an album "overrated" when its both critically acclaimed and praised by the listeners. To me an album is overrated as soon as one of the "communities" praise the album more than the other.

Honestly TPAB is a bit over rated. It is a amazing album don't get me wrong but I've heard better stuff from Kenny. s--- its prob a 8/10. Before y'all start attacking me this my opinion.

In general i don't think people here are that critical towards new music, and i mean constructive criticism.
Of course overrating albums isn't a good thing, but it's always going to happen

Tpab deserves every bit of praise

I'd say it's 10/10 album underrated by critic sand reviews as a 9.6/10.

Fro ma pure objectrive standpoint, 15 out of the 16 songs are 10/10 and one of them is 9/10
