    There have been a handful of openly gay senators. I guess it's just a matter of time. It will end up being a great progressive marketing tactic. I could see it happening before the first openly atheist president tbh.

    Can't see this happening for a long time. Can you imagine him trying to organise arms/oil deals in Riyadh? Especially if he's flamboyant as f--- :'(

    Tbh I reckon we'd see a lesbian president before a gay one. Angela Merkel isn't far off and she's a boss.

    Being old doesn't make saying childish stuff less immature. What does somebody's sexual preference have to do with their ability as president? If Bill Clinton hated Johnny Cash would you leave the country? Are you too stupid to accept that there are legitimate worldviews other than your own?

Woody Allen married his adopted daughter. All of these people excelled in their field regardless of sexual their kinks. Not mention the number of openly gay people who have done great things.
