well, that was f---ing unexpected. I feel like I could rewatch the entire series now with a new mindset and it'd be an entirely different feel.

Like, did he actually do any of the hacking stuff we saw? or just?

I may have missed something, but from what I remember there isn't a clear indicator of when he actually goes to jail. what if some of the murders that have already occurred, happened in Jail?
Thinking about it, the best way to sorta figure out when he's in Jail is when he stops seeing all those girls. I mean, the fact whiterose is transgender, could be a hint towards whiterose being a prison tranny. How early in season 1 was he sent to prison and what was it for?

I believe that Elliot actually went to jail for hacking the therapists boyfriend phone and stealing the dog.

If you remember early on in this season I believe Ray actually approached Elliot and said something along the lines "I heard you liked dogs" its probably how Ray knew he was good with computers as well. Ray must be a staff at the prison

Ray is definitely either a case worker or a high ranking CO. He had a lot of access. Plus the dungeon looking spot he sent Elliot too was obviously the hole or solitary. Pretty sure they're the same thing.

I hope Tyrell is alive. It would be such a waste to keep the viewers speculating over his fate just to k--- him off camera. I'm hoping he pops up again, and maybe the fact that Elliot's been in prison, and he's on the run is enough to explain his absence so far. He was such a fascinating character. Really hope that Vera pops back up at some point. I saw an interview where Sam Esmail stated at the beginning of the show that he hoped for five or six seasons, which seems to be the perfect length for most shows to tell a story.

I thought there wouldn't be much more to explore after the season one finale, but I forgot about what the fallout of Five/Nine could potentially end up being. The aftermath of one of the worst attacks of all time could definitely pan out to be a huge story. Also, I'm fascinated by the fact that since this show operates in the past (Around July 4, 2015 as of this previous episode) the writers get to touch on a lot of ideas that wouldn't be available if they had a current timeline. For instance, the Flint, MI water scandal was mentioned as a possible scandal that was brewing, which Evil Corp was in the beginning stages of preparing to deal with...

I appreciate a show that keeps up with it's timeline. It lets me know that the writing room is as dedicated to those small details as I am... One of my favorite things about BB was the perfect two year story line that served to provide an idea of what a drastic transformation it's lead character underwent from Pilot to Finale.

Me and my brother watch this s--- together, most of the time. I was talking about how I also admired the fact that MR uses at least part of each episode to relate the current situation to something CPU-related. My favorite example is the "View Source" episode where Elliot relates stealing source code from websites to Human beings wearing signs that had their secrets written upon them.

The only thing that concerns me is the fact that Elliot's delusions which make him an unreliable narrator prevent me from totally understanding the entire situation at times. But I'll take the bait, and keep faith that there will be a pay off worth watching.

Watching this right now. Lol @ the lawyer returning home to find the group of hackers setting up shop in her crib. Also, I'm usually indifferent towards Angela's character, but she shut that douchebag at the bar down so hard. I loved it. Now to watch the rest of this s---.

Ehhhhh.... This episode lost a lot of points with me simply because Elliot/Mr. Robot didn't appear in it.

I get that they need to focus on alternate storylines, this one mainly contained FSociety and the FBI. Angela had one scene in a f---ing bar where she murked a plumber with words. I'm glad Darlene got rid of that lawyer though. It actually made me give a s--- about her character and understand what motivates her, and why FSociety is so important to her, because I often forget that it was her dad as well as Elliot's. Them leaking the FBI phone call was awesome.

I thought fat dude was busted for real when they picked him up, but then I was disappointed when they revealed that he was discovered through a link to the DJ for the "End of the World" Party. And I bet that FBI chick s--- a mean d-ck the way she's infatuated with lollipops.

The ending was straight though. I know Cisco is the Dark Army's b---- boy (Him trying to talk back to them a few episodes back was hilarious, especially him speaking Chinese.) Darlene isn't stupid.

Anyway.... I give this episode a 7.2/10... And the last episode got a 9.3/10. Yeah, I love decimals n-----. Glad from the previews we see where Elliot goes from prison. And Darlene seems convinced the DA is cleaning house, but why would Whiterose keep Elliot alive in prison through Leon if his intention was to make him disappear. We've seen what the DA is capable of when they tried to k--- the FBI agents. I think he got big plans for Elliot.

I wonder if the car that sped off when Trenton went outside her home was FBI as well. I know the conference call said there were at least 16 suspects. Considering F Society only had like five members (Elliot, Darlene, Trenton, Mobley, & Romero - Pour a 40 out for him.) who else could be involved. Maybe Tyrell was included in that group? Cisco as well, possibly? Also I wonder what DA did to his f---in' finger. Maybe a tracer, or something else. I doubt they just poked his wigger a--- to teach him a lesson.

I wish @Ordinary Joel would let me know if he's all caught up so we could conspire together. I'm still clueless as to what service the dude Joanna was paying off may have been providing. All I know is he asked her who they were protecting in one scene, and pretty much went on to describe someone who sounded exactly like Elliot. Also, the bullet casing found at the arcade lends credibility to the story Mr. Robot told Elliot about killing Tyrell, but I don't think they found any blood there, or any DNA at all? Surely, Mr. Robot would've cleaned up the crime scene, but why be ignorant enough to leave behind such a traceable piece of evidence?

I go on tangents when it comes to this show, but that's just because it keeps me wondering about EVERY SINGLE THING that happens, and it's all deeper than what meets the eye. Even when it's predictable, there's plenty to analyze.

You're in for a treat then. Episode 7 (It's confusing to me as far as my file organization, cause I have the first two episodes combined and marked as Mr.Robot.S02E01, so every episode must be labeled an episode behind to comply with my OCD.) lol.

Anyway Episode 7 (6) is pretty spectacular, even though we all knew it was coming. However the unity that grows between Mr. Robot and Elliot is pretty awesome over the course of the next few episodes you'll watch... It's like MR is trying to mask Elliot's pain to win back his trust. Still no idea what happened to Tyrell though, and it infuriates me. I'm gonna be pissed if he shows up in the post credits scene of the finale lol.

Its weird to me how Elliot and the rest of the characters feel (and kinda are) on two different shows entirely...hoping that changes back next season.

Yeah this is where I'm concerned about the future of the show. The whole insanity/psychosis/hallucination themes are hard to portray because if you leave it too open ended and there's not a clear indicator when things are/aren't real, it imo kinda defeats the purpose of watching in a way. Naturally, viewers want to 'figure out' what's happening before it's revelead to them, but now we've seen that Elliot can hallucinate an entire prison being normal day-to-day life, you kinda start asking well what is/isn't real?

A good example of this is The Phantom Pain. I truly believe the story of that is f---ing ruined because it was left too open ended. The premise of the story is, your a war-f-----, limb-losing, PTSD riddled psycopath with a chunk of metal in your head that hallucinates. Your a legendary hero that's just come out of a coma and then the story starts revealing all these crazy twists and s--- and by the end of the game, you've seen that entire scenes/rooms/people/conversations can be hallucinated so when you get to the end instead of trying to "figure out" the story, you just go "oh, well literally anything could have been a hallucination, it's unclear too open ended and now i don't care."
