Next Big Rapper On The Scene?

    It seems every other year or so another rapper comes along and for whatever reason explodes to gain legendary status.
    2009: Drake
    2010: J Cole
    2011: Odd Future
    2012: Kendrick
    2014: Young Thug

    For whatever reason ever since his verse on Hive and especially after Summertime 06 I can't shake the feeling that Vince Staples will be the next to blow.
    So who do you guys think is next?

    I don't think either of them are but just look at the featured artist list on this very forum.
    Young Thug is clearly respected a lot for some reason and OF were hugely cultural until recently.

    Woulda said Vince Staples if Summertime 06 had a hit single or two, but that's not looking likely.

    I guess you could make a case for Fetty Wap right now tho....

    Ma dude right here, he's only got a local buzz so far but I know he's gonna be big. Had the summer on lock a couple of years then he kinda went away, he's been in the studio lately tho.

    As much as I love Joey, his sound isn't built for mainstream success. But at least he's staying true to himself and his crew. They have a dope sound.
