    from what I've listened to, thugger is a very interesting artist... he's different. and his work ethic is incredible. how the f--- could he have that much unreleased s---? idk when he became popular (I don't think I heard anything about him before 2015...) but the fact that he has that much material amazes me. as for an amazing lyricist... idk about that, but hey, what do I know

    his flow and voice is pretty unique. and I for one hated it when I first heard thugger on the radio. but when I actually sat down and gave it a try, there were a few tracks I genuinely enjoyed, and to be fully honest, that's something I never thought I'd say.

    in my opinion, you should definitely give him a shot. if you don't like him, that's cool, but you should listen before making that conclusion lol

    To people saying not to bother because you don't initially fall in love with it, It's actually rewarding to learn to appreciate music you don't understand rightaway. Props to OP for his sincere interest in broadening his horizons. Took me a while to warm up to Thugger myself.

    Don't feel forced to "like him", a lot of people think that just because you dislike the music of an artist like Young Thug you are automatically a backpacker that "doesn't know how to have fun".

    No need to generalize, I like other artists that are not necessarily deep in terms of their lyrical content. Thugger is just really bad overall imo

    Its just sonically pleasing for me. He's not really saying much, but its fun to sing/rap along to his songs.
