We were robbed of Roy and T-Mac. Both done way too soon. Roy's comeback game against Dallas in the playoffs was legendary. Imagine if he had stayed healthy, and they had drafted KD instead of Oden.

It wouldn't be right if I didn't show some love for my boy D Rose, aka The Windy City Assassin, aka Poohdini.

Let's take it back to 09, for his 1st career playoff game against the Celtics, where he dropped 36 points & 11 assists. Great duel between him & Rondo the entire series.

I could go on all day, but here's his top 50 plays from his MVP season in 2011. He was truly one of a kind.

Zinedine Zidane without a doubt, he was everything I always wanted to be as a player. Cristiano Ronaldo is my current favorite soccer player his level of skill and persistency on being the best is inspiring.

From basketball I was always a fan of Kobe. Shame about the recent injury but he was outstanding throughout his career.

Yeah it really is unfortunate. He had a phenomenal run though. I don't think we'll ever see such a dominant season in year 17, at the age of 33-34 as we did in 2012-13 with Kobe.

@POOHDINI , just curious as to why that Suns game winner is your favorite game winner of his? I always thought it was kinda overrated especially since they ended up losing that series, maybe that's why I don't like it as much as his other clutch moments. Also he's hit plenty of game winners that were more difficult shots than that one, saw a video yesterday on youtube that had all 36 of his game winners, pretty cool video if you haven't seen it.

Also not sure if you've seen or remember this game, but I think it's one of his most underrated games. It was right after he got 65 and 50, and then here he drops 60 vs. Memphis and puts on a show. So many incredible plays and shots, definitely gotta check this out if you haven't already, about half the plays/shots are amazing.

Agreed, this makes it even more sad because we didn't get to see how his career would have finished. I mean yeah Kobe lost a bit of athleticism as he was getting older, but his game was still incredible and he was still one of the best even in his 17th year. That injury and the injuries that followed definitely were too much to overcome even for Kobe cuz he wasn't the same last year at all. I really hope he can at least have another very good season, they have talented young players on the roster now so maybe he could average like 15, 7 and 7 on 25 minutes a game or something. Those are the kinda numbers they need from him this year imo, he shouldn't be the main focus on offense anymore except for maybe in the 4th quarter of close games.

Yeah I have seen that and it's definitely one of my favorites. He was clearly the MVP that year. As far as that Suns game winner, idk, maybe it's the nostalgia of it, but I live in Chicago so the only time I would see them play was on national TV or the playoffs, so I haven't seen too many of his game winners live which is probably a big reason I love it so much. That floater was tough as h---, and I honestly believed there was no way he was missing that game winning jumper in OT.
Yeah he was playing some if his best ball then. It was tough seeing him struggle last year. I mean he was putting up nice numbers and plays, but his FG % was awful. I have a feeling if they were contending, he wouldn't have sat out these past 2 seasons. Russell, Randle, and Clarkson all look good, so I'm sure they will be fun to watch this year, and in a year or 2 when those guys are established, LA will become a great free agent destination again.

Imagine how much better his scoring record would be had he played like 60 games each of the past 2 seasons.
