    i mean... I doubt it lol.

    MoS was pure a--- to most people (I actually enjoyed it somewhat), and they're very clearly trying to rush the whole cinematic universe thing in an effort to bite marvels success, instead of taking their time after their first attempt to start a DCCU failed with green lantern... there's also been a lot of backlash about what we've seen so far from upcoming DCCU stuff too. I wish them well and all, and I'll watch and probably like some of the upcoming DC movies, but I don't think DC has even the slightest chance in h--- to knock Marvel off their pedestal where movies are concerned

    I find this very offensive :)

    But seriously, this was one of my least favourite arcs tbh.
    Everyone (especially Captain America and Iron Man) were super out of character

    This is pretty much what I feel is happening..I love how everything is interconnected but I kind of miss the days of each character having his own story. I hate how Iron Man's movies were his own but almost everything after his trilogy has been extended avengers movies

    i rly feel like even tho marvel is basically the entire superhero genre at this point, the strain of that many characters per movie and all the interconnections is rly starting to become more obv and negatively effect the movies. hopefully i'm wrong tho and AoU isn't the beginning of a downward spiral...

    Everyone is gonna vote Marvel just because they have more movies right now but DC has always been better when it comes to comics, video games and TV shows

    So I decided to justify my dislike for the civil war arc first, and couldn't stop myself, so this is about 20 minutes of me cursing over my phone.

    First off, everyone is out of character to make the whole thing work, because otherwise, nothing of the sort would've happened. Cap is portrayed as short-sighted and a reactionary hot-head and the whole thing ends when he just sorta gives up because 'Fighting is bad' and 'Property Damage' because, as a short sighted idiot, he didn't realise that fights between superheroes might cause collateral damage and k--- innocent people. And while Captain America is amazingly out of character, the worst case of it in the arc is Tony Stark. Oh yeah, and then
    Steve is assasinated

    Brubaker's saga that started before, went throughout, and after Civil war where
    Bucky takes over as Captain America after the assassination
    Is way better
    Anyways, I'll get back to you about why I prefer Marvel later
