I think I know what @Bleed meant. An English professor of mine once told me that if you have an opinion, don't say, "I think", or "I feel like". It's your opinion and you should be able to voice it without worrying about stepping on others' toes.

Not really, and even then it wouldn't hurt to specify more

Like, "on the one project I listened to, future's hooks were definitely better than his rapping"

Leaves less room for interpretation

It's not about offending other people, it's about "future is only good at hooks" being a statement based off of opinion spoken as fact. There's dozens of ways to say that exact statement without it being worded as fact. I'm not trying to berate you, bleed, and I'm certainly not trying to get you to change your opinion, you just stayed your opinion in a way that it was presented as a fact and I wanted to clarify that it wasn't a fact.

Spoken as fact. It's easy to tell the difference between something spoken as fact versus something that's an opinion.

"That dog looks nicer than the other"
"I like the first dog more"

Both statements convey the same opinion, one States it as fact.
