    Nothing. But some have winzip and not winrar so may not be able to "unzip" it.

    EDIT: But there isn't a difference between a zip and rar file. Aside from just reading rar's can compress more file size apparently (over 2 gigs) while a zip can't do as much (only 2 gigs).

    You have to have an app like winrar to process .rar files while .zip is much easier to process.
