Eminem Is MMLP2 "underrated"?

    Long car ride today so I just listened straight through MMLP2. It gets a lot of hate but I just realized how many quality songs are on there actually.
    Groundhog Day, Evil Twin, Baby, Legacy, Brainless, Bad Guy
    also some good songs like Rhyme or Reason, Berzerk, So Much Better

    Are we going to be looking back on this album in 5-10 years and rate it better?

    Imo it's good. Not bad like some say, not great like others say.

    Yes I think the album is actually pretty great. Not compared to his prime but in general. I listen to a good amount of tracks still.

    It is to a degree and there are a good collection of songs

    What let's it down is the lack of a real concept that glues the album together

    No, I just listened to it right now and felt the same way I did 6 months ago. Now if you really wanna talk underrated, go listen to Encore and tell me you didn't enjoy more today

    I'm not even gonna front, I loved Encore when I listened to it a day ago. But then when I heard MMLP2 today, I just didn't. I stayed for the whole ride though.

    Ya I've never thought that Encore deserves the hate it got. Quality tracks on there but I guess it's the same as this, a lot of bad ones too

    True. But at least the Bad songs on Encore like My First Single, Big Weenie, Just Lose It, a--- Like That, Rainman had good beats and were catchy+his drugged out Encore flow was on point. The bad cuts on MMLP2 were just bland in every way except lyrically. Only song that I really hate from Encore is PUKE.

    3rd best album for me. I even put it above SSLP. Though I consider SSLP a classic but not MMLP2

    No Encore is a hot mess. It has a few good songs but MMLP2 is significantly better.

    I can never, and will never, enjoy s--- like My First Single/Big Weenie/a--- Like that/etc.

    Encore is in no way, shape or form even close to MMLP2. Even the so called "good" songs on Encore are pretty much slightly above average at best while MMLP2 probably doesn't have one song that is bad. Some average ones but not one song that is bad in it's entirety

    its a mediocre album with a couple of good songs n many bad songs. 5/10 or 6/10

    Hey guess I'm in the minority. While I can sit here and listen to Encore all day before I even touch MMLP2, I can see why people would like MMLP2. It's just that it's missing the cohesiveness that Encore had which is a major sin in my book. And tbh Eminem has missed cohesiveness in Recovery as well. His last cohesive album was Relapse.
