    It's great, the guy who created it worked on some eps of Samurai Jack & PPG, he also went on to become a producer for Gravity Falls. Really underrated, dunno why it didn't take off or gain traction until after it got canned, yet that generic mediocre a--- spiderman rip off Danny Phantom went on to become a hit. I guess cause it's more of a comedy than a drama and didnt rly have much save the day eps, I mean it did but it wasn't like taken as seriously or they'd always fall to the side over another plot. The art style is also prty dug, it has that retro mickey mouse feel.

    It doesn't rly ave much in common with Samurai Jack though. It does remind me of PPG & dexter at times, but even than it's still pretty different from those two.

    Started watching Ping Pong Club tonight and my god it gave me a good few laughs.
    Didn't think I'd enjoy it as I'm not a fan of watching sports in general, but a few eps in and I want to sit and watch the entire series in one go.

    i honestly think sports and slice of life are the most enjoyable for some reason

    well I haven't really read any sports manga other than hajime no ippo, Shoukoushi Kohinata karate Minoru, Eyeshield 21, All rounder Meguru, Holyland, Prince of tennis, ... I guess I have read a lot of sports manga lol.

    But yeah Slice of life is actually my favourite genre idk why. Maybe I had a s-----y childhood or something

    I don't mind Slice of Life. Has a certain bliss about it.

    Ace Attorney is a safe bet, idk if you played the games but seeing it in anime format is gonna be interesting. The others are cute SoL stuff with some interesting plot to it

    Going to watch the 4th season of Sailor Moon, also Millennium Actress. I've enjoyed the Satoshi Kon work I've seen so far so I have no doubt I will like that. Read up on it last night and the actresses he took inspiration from, very interesting.

    I'm just in for continuations of stuff I already like, like Sailor Moon and Magi next season. Nothing new has really caught my attention except Ace Attorney, but I've never played the games so I don't know if I should start here

    Thoughts on All Rounder Meguru mate?

    And sports series are cool, not a huge fan of them but I see their appeal. Not much of a sports fan myself so I always get more attached to the characters and their motives rather than the actual sports.

    On that note, my favorite "genre" is Epic. I unno if it's really a genre but anything with a sizable cast, sprawling plot, stakes are high (prob like a war), and usually a bunch of characters dying is my bread & butter. So Nausicaa, Akira, LotGH, Berserk, h--- even one piece.

    All rounder me guru is cool. It's amazing how real it is. Main characters are nice too, especially that kick boxing girl.

    Only problem is it gets updated irregularly, which is especially annoying in a fighting manga as you're stuck in a fight for like 9 months.


    And while I'm all for epics in any format, I usually get bored with it over time unless I can just binge read/watch the whole thing in 2 says or whatever lol
