    How is that disgusting? Dragon ball was the god father of anime and hunter x hunter was a clear head nod to DBZ. plus the Chimerant arc in hunter x hunter is probably the best arc in anime history.

    1. crossovers are >never< good (except carnival phantasm but its borderline parody so its different)
    2. db defined the shounen adventure battle genre, its not like hxh is directly referencing db, its just in the genre that db defined
    3. just bc chimera ant arc is good doesnt mean the cast, plot or even universes from the different anime can assimilate
    4. db aged like milk and any1 who still likes it only clings to it for nostalgia reasons
    5. the result would be pandering garbage

    also u saying db is the godfather of anime proves how little u know, anime was huge for over a decade b4 the first chapter was released w mecha titles in the front.

    also i seriously doubt u watched enough anime to say something like "chimera ant is best arc oat"
