As I already said, English isn't my language so I don't always understand a song, and I need to go on rapgenius to understand the subtle texts.

So I would like to know which albums are really good lyrically.
Can you guys give me your top 8 based on the lyrics and the message?

Lyrically Kanye's best songs are off the top of my head:
    Gorgeous
    Devil in a new Dress
    New Slaves
    Lost in the World
    Heard Em Say
    Jesus Walks
    Cant Tell me Nothing
    Crack Music
    Diamonds From Sierra Leone

MBDTF is by far his most lyrically talented album.

I think you meant 8 songs, not albums. :emoji_wink:

So here's my list of his best rapping (i don't necessarily favor difficult rapping over simple poetic lyrics)
    1. Jesus Walks - the whole message and delivery (especially the beginning) of that song is amazing.
    2. Gorgeous - Multi-syllable rhymes, raw bars and witty punclines; the song gives you a deeply complicating look at Kanye's (then current) state of mind
    3. New Slaves - consumerism creating 'slaves'
    4. Diamonds from Sierra Leone - fast rapping Ye and again a great message
    5. Good Morning - Really smooth rapping and witty lines - an ode to not caring about your grades
    6. Gone - a confident brag about Ye's importance in the rap/music game
    7. Roses - An energetic rap with lots of passion and character about the love for his sick grandma and family
    8. Bring Me Down - a super relevant take on his haters (even for today!!)
    9. Everything I Am - laidback Ye with a cool perspective on his personality

And here's my list of his best overall lyrics/songs (notice almost none of 'em are complicated, yet the impact of every line is somehow tenfold as hard for me):
    1. Say You Will - feeling frustrated
    2. Hold My Liquor - feeling intoxicated
    3. Amazing - maintaining positivity
    4. Heartbreak Hotel - failing to love
    5. Lost in the World - feeling overwhelmed/down
    6. Addiction - having vices
    7. Hey Mama - love for his momma
    8. Street Lights - fearing your destiny

This was harder than i thought it would be.
