Dude had nearly 100k people in the crowd apparently, and it was live as f---. He did almost the entire GKMC album, and then a few joints from TPAB (Alright, i, King Kunta).
The crowd was lit b, it was crazy to see like 30,000 of the (supposedly) 80-100k people there know nearly every word to his joints. He went back and did ADHD to close off the set, and then gave away a pair of his new reeboks too.
He would repeat his choruses for the more mellow tracks at the end and layer them with drums to get the crowd more and more lit too. A lot of people got frustrated with that, but that s--- was dope to me.
Anyways I say all that to say that Drake stinks , Kendrick has slotted back to the top of my "artists I stan" list.
whew, if you've never seen him live, please do yourself a favour and go. Even if it means driving 12 hours through the mountains like it did for me.

Kendrick was lit as f---, dude has ridiculous control over the crowd. I didnt like how he repeated the chorus of so many songs because he couldve done other songs in that same time frame. This was my second time seeing him at pemberton and hes gotten a lot better live. Him and J cole had the two best performances at the festival imo. s--- was goat.Meero, Peter Parker, Ordinary Joel and 2 others like this. -

I was close to going, but I couldn't justify it after Bonnaroo. Two of my buddies went and said it was great though.
Set sounds pretty similar to Bonnaroo's though he also brought out Anna Wise for These Walls. I dig the repeating of choruses like @Mike Tyson said. I've seen Kendrick three times now and he's played f---in' Problems twice in a row each time lol.
Still kicking myself for not seeing him when I had the chance right after S80 came out. The only pre-GKMC stuff I've heard him play is p---- and Patron and ADHD.Ordinary Joel, Mike Tyson and Jordan like this. -

I once had the pleasure to sre him as well during the GKMC worldtour and to keep it short, it was dope as f---. First track: the intro of The Art of Pressure and then the dark part began... Holy s---, the crowd couldn't stop vibing after that.
Back then, he played everything everything from GKMC plus some O.D. stuff like P&P. Seeing a few live videos nowadays makes me feel like his performances have got even better.
'Your career ain't s--- unless you got some Kendrick in it.' Same goes with festivals and concerts.
I'm glad the 12 hour drive was worth it for you @Mike TysonOrdinary Joel, Nav Bhatia and Mike Tyson like this.
