J. Cole can rap, the problem is that he's uninteresting. Thanks to his incessant need self produce, he crafts beats with himself in mind, which eliminates the challenge and causes a lot of his songs to be boring. Same thing goes for BIG K.R.I.T.

He's pretty much the create-a-rapper character you'd make in a video game.
