Jul 23, 2015 Fun Fact: Tiddies are flip flops, so she is telling Em to s--- his sisters flip flops lol
Jul 23, 2015 Since when has "white trash" been on the same level as calling black people "monkeys"? White trash is a pretty broad term and has been used a lot more loosely. I thought it referred more to a way of living than it being about race. Either way, I can't tell you what you should take offense to. If white trash offends you so badly then go ahead.
Jul 23, 2015 Im not sure i read the whole arguement. But did you comparing calling white people, white trash to calling black people, monkeys?
Jul 23, 2015 well its offensive when its about certain people from the south , i know how she is thinking ..i am in the other hand fine with asian black gay man with a Swastika tattooed on his d-ck..i dont get offended easily...but i am offended as an Em fan right now
Jul 23, 2015 Nah, as @Mano said it has much different social stigma. In a vacuum, yeah, whitetrash should probably be offensive, but you can't ignore how social stigma has affected the meaning of words. The mass use of a word in specific context in a society is what gives words meaning the first place.
Jul 23, 2015 who are you to tell me its not the same? im not white, but i can understand if a white man takes offense
Jul 23, 2015 It doesn't matter which word is more offensive, Banks is the only legit racist individual in the discussion.
Jul 23, 2015 Calling a white person "cracker" doesn't have the same effect as calling a black person "n----" even though they're both derogatory terms for their respective races. Should they be equally offensive? Yes, in theory, but in practice, the one has a huge history behind it and the other doesn't.
