Jul 27, 2015 meek gonna wash drake i can't wait drake is out of his league right now, meek came up off of this s---
Jul 27, 2015 1. He will never. Ever. Be as big as Drake. That's like me saying "f--- Kanye, he doesn't even design those shoes". Even if it's true, why should people respect me for saying that? 2. He bitched on Twitter. Leave that s--- to Nicki and Taylor. 3. He yells too d--- much. 4. He already got wrecked by Cassidy. He should have given up after that. 5. He yells too d--- much. Never been a big Meek fan, so I'm probably totally biased here. but still, I doubt he'll come out of this with a W.
Jul 27, 2015 Writing diss tracks & battling are not the same. If Drake & Meek were battling, Drake would without a doubt be in way over his head. It's not the same though.
Jul 27, 2015 1. Popularity has nothing to do with it 2. He called Drake out on Twitter - in 2015, this is no different to calling someone out at a show / on radio (which has been done since day 1) 3. This has nothing to do with it. Drake is yelling on his new s---. 4. Cassidy could wreck 95% of the current popular artists in Hip Hop. Given up after one battle would be pretty bad - imagine Nas or Jay gave up after their battle. 5. HE DONG BE YELLING. HE JUST RAPPING WITH THE CAPS LOCK ON. One of the rumours is Meek Mill recorded a verse on the "Know Yourself" reference track - that would be a massive win for his claim. Meek Mill would also be the underdog against Drake. Put the 2 bar for bar and Meek would chew him - but Drake has more fans, and the fans will look at this battle blindly to suit their preferred artist
Jul 27, 2015 Goodnight & Goodluck was pretty acceptable imo. One of Drake's best joints. Nas was the underdog too. Not saying Meek has Nas level bars (or Drake, Jay) but being in that position has an uncanny way of bringing out the unexpected...sometimes. When Takeover dropped, Nas was "dead" for 3 months. n----s IS NOT that patient anymore.
Jul 27, 2015 What was the last legitimate diss track Drake wrote? Likely from before he was even signed. He's a different artist now than he was then. Regardless Drakes shown he can effectively throw shots at people when needed, Common, Chris Brown, Tyga etc. I think he can hold his own. Meek's fully capable of writing diss tracks as well as we saw with his back & forth with Cassidy (even though he lost).
