    Memorizing the characters so far is hard and chances are it'll be a while before I come to grips with that aspect of the language

    But the pronunciation and words are easy to catch onto, it just takes daily practice to get it engraved

    Luckily, Rosetta Stone makes it easier than a common teacher would

    Thats gotta be tough man, English and Japanese are polar opposites. I've tried a rosetta stone demo, I liked it. Seems great. I'm contemplating learning Korean.

    Korean seems really cool tbh

    But yeah, I'm excited to start putting in effort to learn an additional language. I'm a huge fan of Japanese culture so it's even better

    Nice! I plan on learning Korean because I am fascinated by Korean culture and plan on going to South Korea to teach English at some point.

    Fluent in speaking Vietnamese. Can't read/write it though. :ohno:

    Can count in Mandarin Chinese.

    And obviously English.

    Almost the same.

    English is my first language. Almost fluent (very rusty) Welsh. I can get by in French (took it at AS-level, only subject i was due to pass before dropping out)
