Sep 22, 2015 I have an opinion so I'm a r-----? How about the fact that he touts the Confederate Flag? Whatever your defense is for that, I don't really give a f---, because any one who wears it is straight f---ing ignorant. f--- "Southern Pride".
Sep 22, 2015 you do realize there are black southerners who support and fly the flag right? youre looking more r-----ed each post you make lmao.
Sep 22, 2015 Yeah okay. Notice how I never once called you a r----- or anything of the sort. I may swear but I can voice my opinion without resorting to bashing the other person. Think about that. And MOST people have deemed the Confederate Flag a symbol of hate. There's a bottom line here. The fact is, the people who flew that flag, fought for slavery. The enslavement of people based on the color of their skin. Absolute ignorance. Pure hate. Those monuments for Confederate soldiers and generals? Idiotic. They were the enemy. The other side. The non American side. The ones who lost. The people I have met who tout that flag have all been prejudice. Yela wearing it makes him look very ignorant. The way he acted on the ESPN interview also put me off. And on top of that I already disliked his music. That's all I was saying. And before you say, "If you don't like him why did you say anything", It's the internet. I'm allowed to voice my opinion. And you can debate me. But don't be an a--- about it.
Sep 22, 2015 most people can deem it whatever they want, that doesnt mean theyre right, its sad a southern black person can fly the flag, but yet to ignorant people who 99% have nothing to do with the actual topic of slavery find that a flag is an issue. on the yela topic, u should watch the one concert where a black duide was holding up a confederate flag and he saluted him.. lmao its all respect.
Sep 22, 2015 I'm a hispanic man living in the South. I've lived in every Southern state with the exception of Texas, plus I've lived in New York and Michigan. I've lived in all these places for several years each, and met thousands of these "rednecks" you're talking about. And honestly, from a pure subjective standpoint, they are some of the nicest people I've ever met in my entire life. Most of them are completely against racism because in the parts where I'm from, these people were living in dirt poor conditions, working hand in hand with African-Americans on tabacco farms, cotton fields etc. These views of disintegration have heen disbanded over the course of the past 160 years. You don't seem to understand why Yelawolf is wearing the flag the way he does. Watch this video: Yelawolf is standing up for an entire denomination of people that wear the flag and are extremely caring of all races, but automatically get labeled as "racists and idiots" like you're doing. He's showing people that not everyone that wears the flag is like that. From a historical standpoint, the flag used flown by the Northern Virginia army, and handed down as a symbol of pride by the sons of the soldiers. It was never a flag used to fly over a country that represented slavery, it was taken and misused by racist groups such as the KKK (which also flew the US flag), which sadly, is what most people tend to associate the flag with. I don't care if you like his music or not, that's subjective, but you're taking small tid bits of information about someone you already don't like, and when looking in retrospect you're building a facade argument against them. That's not right.
Sep 22, 2015 f--- yeah! Yela is prob one of my favorite people to listen to after Love Story and those dope a--- freestyles he dropped to promote Love Story
Sep 22, 2015 Love Story has me hyped for anything that Yelawolf releases now. He has strong potential. Definitely looking forward to this album.
Sep 22, 2015 He had a bit of a classic rock vibe on love story for some tracks, like whiskey in a bottle but yeah i'd like to see more of it on this next album, the title would work for an album like that
Sep 22, 2015 thanks...ill check this out....Love Story was a great album...much better than Radioactive in my opinion
Sep 23, 2015 Love Story still sounds fresh to me. Never expected another album this soon but my body is ready
Sep 23, 2015 Well, I don't think it's dropping in like a month but one year to 1.5 year is not too farfetch'd. To me it seems like Yela evolves as an artist for every album he releases, if Trial By Fire is better than Love Story then I'm more than willing to wait 3 years.
