    just downloaded this for my surface pro 3...so what's the big differences? Obviously it opens the desktop now and the start menu is different

    The new browser works well with 10. Also, they installed a voice assistant that's similar to Siri and a new Music Store/Streaming service. It's pretty nice, but my only complaint is that it f----- up the media players

    Yeah I saw Cortana...everything seems to be working so far...I'll test out p--- later and report back

    Installed Windows 10 on both my Surface Pro and my laptop. I love it on both of them

    ehh, it's nothing crazy. I'm just impatient and wanted to mess with it.

    I had a windows logo on the bottom right hand side of my screen in the task bar since I signed up to get it. Today when I logged in a pop up said I could upgrade

    it's a resource hog, and It's still overheating my Desktop... I may have to go back to Windows 7 anyway

    Really liking W10. Had a few problems on start up such as a really slow laptop, I somehow couldn't shut down and couldn't access the store. Thankfully they are now solved. Being at 92% 2am did take the piss though.

    I had win7 before and after upgrading to win10 my laptop went like 2x faster, no lie. Still running the same applications and have all the same s--- I had on win7, but it's way faster and I really like the new UI (I skipped win8, so maybe it's not as new for everyone). Perhaps my SSD wasn't properly set up on win7? However I didn't change any settings with the upgrade and the whole OS def runs faster on my machine now. Everything is instant.

    btw Dell said that my laptop wasn't confirmed to support win10 at all, however it runs actually much better on win10. Haven't tried no games yet tho, so don't know how the switchable graphics thing works in new OS.

    I've been in the Insider Program since march and i've had the full version for a while. It was already faster than 7 for me in march and it still is. I definitely recommend upgrading

    Wow, i have hardly seen any bugs, and only one crash since i got the full version, and that is probably because i have my computer on like 24/7
    I had problems with my audio drivers and DFX Audio Enhancer but after i got the full version everything is fine

    What do you recommend me to do before upgrading?
    like such as backing up files and other stuff

    I made a separate partition to try 10. It is a h--- of a lot smoother than 8.1. I still dislike some of the UI in certain places, like in settings. It is ugly as f---.

    Still got some minor issues in the OS, needs a bit of work, but it will get fixed soon enough.
