Try garage band too and maybe torrent logic pro x. Be versatile in both and you'll do great

Well, you have a clear rhythm going already. I'm personally not a fan of those drums but to each his own. The sound effects are well timed for the most part.
You really need a melody though, just a simple one even with some small variations. It might be hard to create one in the right key though, as I am assuming that siren sound is a clip rather then a synth note you played. Mess around with melody's until you hear something "click" with that high synth.
You also need to work on building the music up and letting it drop in appropriate places, as it is now you just have a loop.

    August 8th:
Here is my second beat I have ever made. I would really appreciate feedback. Those of you who heard the first one and were giving me tips, I was actually able to create a simple melody for this beat. Thanks!

Thank you, only thing I was missing in the first one was a melody but I think it turned out surprisingly well without one.

personally, i would've added in a synth bass instead of the bass kick you used but other than that its a pretty nice simple beat.

i especially liked that switch up you did mid way

drums on point, only thing I'd say is I think I hear a melody in the background, but it needs turned up a bit, it's not that noticeable on my speakers.

Yeah so I'm going to have to against the grain and say your 808 and hi hat game are pretty generic and not really A1 as you said they were. Pretty much drum patterns I've heard before in Mike Will/808 Mafia stuff, especially the k--- Bill FX. Please find your own sound and work on melodies as they pretty much are the foundation of the beat that you need to build drums around.

Keep experimenting, the k--- Bill thing is so overused and 808 Mafia's thing so please don't use that. Just experiment with instruments and melodies and develop your sound. But don't call anything A1 if it's your first beat ever. The only way to learn is to be humble and learn and develop. Don't get stuck on things you already hear and regurgitate it.

Edit: @Cyreides is right, drums are quiet and your samples are kinda low quality. Turn them up and find better samples too.

Hello guys, I'm back! This is my 4th beat and I think I've come a long way from my first one. I would appreciate any feedback I can get. I understand that the beat gets a little repetitive and I'm sorry about that. If you wouldn't mind giving me feedback/tips I would greatly appreciate it. If you are interested in hearing the third beat that I've made, just let me know. Thanks!

It's nice but it's still in the generic stage.

Go back and make the tempo just a little faster, and also harmonize your melody. What that means is you take your melody pattern and just really copy and move it up about an octave or so so it sounds higher pitched up. It'll sound dope af.

Also a little lead synth here and there wouldn't hurt either, but that's optional. Keep working lil bro
